Configuring an IVR

How to configure an IVR.

In a few simple steps, you'll be able to quickly configure your own IVRs for use in your campaigns.

**Please note that the inbound call forwarding option in the IVR is not available if you're located outside of the US.

  1. From the My Data menu on the left side of your account, click "Phone IVRs".


2. Click the + Add IVR button in the upper right corner.


3. Title your IVR and set your rules. You can add rules by clicking the + Add Rule button in the upper right corner. If you want to delete a rule, click the 3 horizontal dots to the right of the rule.

Below is a common set up where the system will play a recording and give your contacts the option to be forwarded to your number or to add themselves to the DNC. The recording in this example would say something like, "Hi, thanks for calling Example Company. Please press 1 to talk to our team or you can also press 9 to be added to our do-not-call list!". Please note that the key press numbers you use in your rules should match the keypress options listed in your recording.


4. Once your rules are set, click "Save" and you're ready to include your IVR in your voice and text campaigns.


Need to delete an IVR?

  1. Locate the recording you wish to delete.

  2. Click the three horizontal dots to the far right side.

  3. Click Delete IVR.
