Can I display my own Caller ID if I am located in the U.S.?

You're unable to choose your caller ID as this is no longer legal within the United States under the TRACED Act. While some companies have not yet updated their systems, we like to ensure we're ahead of the game in compliance.

If you are located in the United States, you can send Voicemail Campaigns via our Public Pool of numbers. With the Public Pool, your contacts will see a number local to their area code.

If you're intending to send SMS campaigns within the United States, there were several industry wide regulation changes that took effect on October 1, 2021. Carriers now require all SMS campaigns to be sent from an approved private number pool from a registered brand.

If you'd like to send SMS campaigns, it's easy to register! Please click the Trust Center from within your account to learn more and get started. After your business has been verified, you'll be able to click the Number Pools tab to complete the number pool registration.
